Frank Rainaldi

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Frank Rainaldi is one of the insurance industry's leading educators. He currently serves as special consultant to several major insurance companies in the areas of estate and business planning. He is the author of The Kugler Cases: Practical Applications in Estate and Business Planning, a book published by the American Society of CLU & ChFC, and The Kugler System, a complete marketing and training system for estate and business planning. The Kugler System is currently being used by some of the largest life insurance companies as their primary marketing and training system.

Mr. Rainaldi began his career in insurance sales with John Hancock Financial Services. He was later transferred to the company's home office in Boston, and eventually became General Director of Education. Mr. Rainaldi organized and oversaw the curriculum for the John Hancock Institute and personally taught many of its classes. He also wrote much of the training material used in the pension and estate planning areas. He later served as General Agent in Springfield, New Jersey for twenty years.

As an author, his articles have appeared in several professional publications, among them the CLU Journal and Society Page. In 1994, his article on GRITs and GRATs received an award in the CLU Journal's Author Award Program. He has also been featured in a number of business and general interest publications, including Investor's Business Daily, Newsday and Financial Services Week. He has addressed convention audiences throughout the country, including national meetings of the Million Dollar Round Table, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, the National Association of Estate Planning Councils, and the CLU National & International Institutes. He has also been the featured lecturer in a CLU Video Teleconference, Chairman and featured speaker at the National CLU Conference, and has spoken at the Keeping Current Clinics. He has also appeared as a featured guest on several national television programs concerning business and estate planning. He has had particular success with seminar selling, and is recognized for his ability to translate highly technical subjects into easy-to-understand sales ideas.

Mr. Rainaldi is a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of CLU and ChFC. The American Society has more than 35,000 members. He is Chairman of John Hancock's Field Quality Committee. He is a life and qualifying member of the MDRT, and has qualified for the Top of the Table. He is also a member of the John Hancock Hall of Fame, and past President of the John Hancock General Agents Association. He is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), and has spoken on the main platform at two of their national conventions. He is a member of the University of Connecticut's Business School Hall of Fame.

Mr. Rainaldi is married with three children and five grandchildren.

Leonard J. Witman

Leonard J. Witman, Esq. is a nationally noted lecturer and author in the tax, estate, elder planning and deferred compensation fields. He is a tax partner at the firm of Witman, Stadtmauer & Michaels, P.A. located in Florham Park, New Jersey. Mr. Witman is a graduate of Rutgers College and New York Law School, and a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars. He serves as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University Law School and Rutgers University Graduate School of Management. He is an instructor for the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA), an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and a member of the Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He was formerly a Tax Law Specialist, instructor and lecturer with the Internal Revenue Service in the Employee Plans and Exempt Organizations Division.

Mr. Witman is a former Chairman of the New Jersey State Bar Taxation Committee. He has written extensively for numerous periodicals, including the Journal of Taxation, CLU Journal, Medical Economics, and other publications for Prentice Hall and CCH. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of Practical Accountant. He has been quoted in financial columns in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and on CNBC and CBS News. He was also listed in the 2001-2002 edition of "Best Lawyers in America."

Mr. Witman is married with two children.

William Rainaldi

A Lehigh University graduate, William Rainaldi is The Kugler Co's Chief Executive Officer. He has an extensive background in estate and business planning, publishing, and computers. He has been affiliated with John Hancock for the past eight years. Prior to that, he worked structuring limited partnerships for a mid-sized New Jersey broker/dealer. He is the editor of The Kugler Cases: Practical Applications in Estate and Business Planning, a book published by the American Society of CLU & ChFC and The Kugler System. He is a former Adjunct Lecturer at New York University's School of Continuing Education.

Mr. Rainaldi is married with three children. He received his CFP degree in 1986.
